With all the great reviews, I was looking forward to buying a new bow from this place. I called ahead to make sure they had the Matthews bow I was interested in- the guy on the phone seemed like a friendly dude. I gathered up my cash money and drove to Naples from Ft Myers.

When my wife and I entered the shop- the man just looked at us. No “hey, how’s it going? Welcome in how can I help you?” Not a word until I stood right in front of him and he had to speak.

I asked several questions about the bow and all I got was one word answers. He didn’t seem willing to help me learn and he definitely didn’t seem like he wanted to sell anything. The search continues for a bow shop in SW Florida.

Just left their shop and very happy to have a great archery resource in town! Henley set my bow up my first bow. I’m a first time archer and Henley answered all my questions and real eager to help. I went to bass pro shops the other week just to look around and do your self a favor and don’t waist your time and money with them and go to Surf and Turf. Thank you Henley.

Me and my son were new to fishing on the Naples pier. So we went on a search for the right stuff. I noticed surf and turf was right down from the pier.
When we walked in the back door to purchase some tackle we found ourselves in a full fledged archery shop. Mind blown. I’ve been in many real archery shops over the years.
They are easy to recognize.
We ended up buying some weird hot pink lures that would never catch bass.? And we caught a few fish the very next afternoon.
Now I didn’t buy any thing to fling arrows at the fish. But if I had I’m sure from the look of the place they could’ve hooked me up.
Also he gave me some back water fishing captains names out of his phone. Thanks for the help bro.

I took my bow in to Surf&Turf to get my bow tuned and some new arrows for the hunting season. When I dropped off my bow Henley said it’d be a couple days and everything would be squared away.
A month and a half later, 14 unanswered calls to the shop, twice going to the store mid-day just to see a sign that said they’d be closed for a week on separate occasions without updating the hours online or giving me a call. I finally walked in today just to hear that they had never started working on my bow or arrows after an entire month and a half.
Now I’m stuck a few days before my hunting season without a tuned bow or arrows. No clue how this bad of customer service even happens.

I bought my Hoyt Carbon Element from Surf & Turf Custom. Excellent customer service, excellent advice, the staff knows their business! If you fish or hunt with a bow do yourself a favor and check out their shop before the big box stores. If you need something they don't have in stock they can order and have it for you in a few days. Besides the fact they have a great shop and great personalized service, spending your money in a local shop versus the chains helps our local economy.

I went here because I read good reviews.
I went here looking to rent fishing equipment to fish on peir. When i asked the man at the desk about renting equipment, he flat out lied to me, twice. First he said he told he did not rent fishing equipment. That's fair enough, apparently this establishment only takes people on
guided fishing trips. But then he told me, twice, that "NO ONE HERE RENTS FISHING EQUIPMENT!"

I'm totally fine to have to find another place, but why would you lie to me. The fact is I had just got off the phone with a group that is not 5 minutes from Surf. n Turfs' shop who rent fishing equipment from at least 3 different locations. So just consider this info as you, the consumer, chose your fishing guides. I hope this guy was just having a really bad day... and was wanting to leave work early. BI hope and believe you can trat your customers or inquiries with more respect and
honesty... we all need that.

Poor customer service and lacks attention to detail. Usually get a voicemail and no call back. I requested an item and it’s been over a month and I get a huh, response? Seriously? Status update, did it ever get ordered definitely not……… Unfortunately, I suggest go to a “big box” store which I try to avoid but you will get better service.

Henley is the man, brought in an older z7 and needed it set up for me. New cam and had new strings put on, honestly can’t say enough and I’m glad I chose this shop to do business with.
