My partner went into this store and the staff were disgusting and extremely unhelpful. She was collecting a large heavy Christmas present and she went in with our son in his pushchair . She asked if someone could take this package out to the car and they turned around and stated they “We don’t really do that any more and we are short staffed” she was asked to go out and put my son in a trolley and go back in with the trolley which she did for them to then turn around and say “ well it’s not going to fit in there “ she asked again if they could use one of there trolleys they use in the back to take out the large heavy package for the lady to ask the man in the back who was then chuntering about it and swore while trying to look for his trolley… much to his disagreement to helping my partner take this package to her car he turned around to her on the walk and said “ why didn’t you just order it to be delivered because it would of been free” …. May I add this item would have NOT been free to be delivered as it was stating a £3.95 delivery charge and plus we only live 2 minutes around the corner . I can’t believe the disgusting service she received today and she was made to feel belittled in front of people around her by the staff in store . Needless to say a massive complaint has now been sent in with further details about this situation.

What happened to the customer always being right …
And a customer being questioned about how they placed the order and didn’t click the delivery option is beyond me . I look forward to hearing from Argos direct .

We got a cooker from Argos and was faulty it tripped are electricity box that much it damaged the RCD in the electricity box. we had to call an electrician out twice which isn’t cheap. asked for a replacement but they couldn’t found my order at first as there customer Service is terrible after a half an hour they found the order but tuck 3 of the staff and they said a 5 day wait for the replacement but that’s 5 days with out a cooker with a young family !!

I found Argos Arnold (inside sainsburys) very helpful & professional .
I called Argos Arnold before I went to check on availability on a cd player I wanted!
They add, one left, they asked me , we can reserve it for a couple of days,but i said no! I, be in tomorrow for it
& Has they said it was there 👍

Popped in several times recently and always experience good service. Friday 27th May had to return some TU clothes, pick up some more and collect Argos package, chap was helpful, quick and all with a smile. Thanks for great service. Would recommend this Argos. 👌

It moved from its own store on the high street and into Sainsbury's. It is worse in every conceivable way. On a Saturday lunch time, they only have one member of staff on the tills. This person is also expected to fetch the orders as well. The queues are always horrendous.

If one person shows up with a problem, the entire shop grinds to a stop whilst it is sorted. This happens every time I have been, and I give up and just buy from Amazon.

There are no longer any automated payment points, and we are back to flicking through catalogues and filling out pieces of paper. Is this 1988? Look at the floor layout. You could fit 12 automated payment points instead of the dozen tables with catalogues and pieces of paper. No one is using those. This is 2018. Free the one cashier up to just bring the products out.

Argos, your ONE REDEEMING FEATURE over shopping on-line, was it was quick and easy to pop in and pick up what you wanted. You have decided to throw that away. And Amazon now do same day delivery. GG

Store and staff is lovely but take my purchase as an example. I've ordered a 10 inch tablet from lenovo in this store. Not sure what is Argos policy but when I want a new item I expect a brand new item. I've collected my tablet, went home to open it just to discover that the covering foil is all creased and screen full of fingerprints. I went back to Argos in Bulwell and was told it should be quality checked. I don't give a care who quality checked it. I wanted a brand new item, not somebody's return. The staff replaced my item. Please check you purchases.

Argos is located to the right of the main entrance. The store is quite small, but carries most products with some products delivered to store the same or next day. The service is very fast with polite staff & ample stocks.
